Do you lend your books? Are any out on loan right now? Do you have any that have been loaned to you? Do you put a time limit on these? Do you think people should make an effort to read the loaned book quickly?
I don't really lend my books out for one of two reasons. 1. I normally get books from the library. 2. It's a good book and i don't want the person to lose it.
I dont do a lot of library borrowing but I agree that if it is a good book, I dont want to risk someone losing it, or worse, damaging it and then I have to live with seeing that damaged book forever!

I've never had a problem with someone damaging my books, only keeping them. :-(
